Rural Prosperity | A Workshop for Enriching Communities

Why:
As an economic development catalyst for our service area, SRT is proud and excited to offer an event that will:

• Provide information and access to funding sources.
• Connect community champions to statewide resources and to each other.
• Engage leaders to build plans that help their communities thrive.
• Educate with real-life examples of how to achieve community readiness, incremental growth, and existing asset growth.

Attendees will leave with relevant tools and knowledge from these economic development experts:

• Erin Oban, ND State Director, USDA Rural Development
• Megan Langley, Founder and Executive Director, Strengthen ND
• Brian Gion, Cooperative Development Specialist, North Dakota Association of Rural Electric Cooperatives

Join us right before the workshop for breakfast pastries from Minot’s Daily Bread. Lunch from Prairie Sky Breads will also be served, as well as an afternoon snack from Mema’s Meats. Coffee and cold beverages will be available all day.
