Access to ESPN3, one of ESPN’s alternative channels, will also end when SRT’s TV platforms are decommissioned on or shortly after November 30th, 2022. ESPN3 is unique in that it can be viewed with a compatible device from any SRT Internet connection with or without an SRT TV programming subscription. An outage in the southern part of the state is causing issues for landline callers making 9-1-1 calls, long-distance, 1-800 calls, ATMs, and credit card terminals.
The issues are being investigated and further updates will be provided from Minot Police Department’s Facebook page at facebook.com/minotpd.

We continue to see signs of progress such as customers receiving some email. Mail2World has stated that functions may be returned incrementally so you may see notifications but not the full email, or be able to receive but not send. This is expected and normal. Some email may have timed out or have been returned to sender and may not be delivered. We hope to have more positive updates for you soon!

A few SRT customers are reporting that a small number of emails are trickling into their mailboxes. While these reports are limited, and this is not the case for all customers, we take it as a positive sign of progress in restoring service.

During this process, we have no reason to believe that any customer information has been compromised. The ransomware attack locked the email server but did not access account information or email content.

As of this morning, January 13th, SRT’s 3rd party email provider is estimating that email service will be restored by mid-afternoon today. We sincerely apologize for this service interruption.

PERSONAL STORAGE: END OF SUPPORT
As customer needs evolve, SRT continually evaluates and updates our hardware and software to maintain security and performance. As a result, we have determined that we will end support of Personal Storage space that a number of customers have used for personal web page hosting. Customers that have utilized this storage space in the past were individually notified and given an SRT contact for any specific questions or concerns.
On December 31, 2021 support for Personal Storage ended and the servers were taken off-line.

SRT’s email servers will be part of a scheduled maintenance tonight. During this time, customers may not be able to log into their email accounts. Please rest assured that all incoming messages will be queued and delivered to mailboxes as soon as the maintenance is complete, which is expected to take no more than two hours.
